According to a report from Football.London, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will not accept another season of grinding away without the required personnel, with new signings an absolute must for the Argentine.

Spurs have not signed anyone since January 2018, but that will surely have to change this summer, if they are to compete both domestically and on the continent next season.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are prepared to break their transfer record twice this summer with moves for Real Betis ace Giovani Lo Celso and Lyon star Tanguy Ndombele.

The north London outfit are also keen on signing Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon, according to the Sun, and if they get all three of those players, it will be a really impressive summer for them.

Football.London claims that should Tottenham fail to sign any of those targets, Pochettino will deem it as unacceptable.

Quite where that would leave the Argentine remains to be seen, but one thing’s for certain, it will be in the Tottenham owners’ best interest to back their manager to the hilt this summer, or risk losing him to one of Europe’s elite clubs.
