Cenk Tosun could soon be joined by a former Besiktas teammate at Everton.

Turkish outlet Aksam claim Everton are just ‘a matter of time’ away from completing a deal to sign Besiktas midfield maestro Oguzhan Ozyakup, ahead of Premier League rivals West Ham United.
The report claims 25-year-old midfielder Ozyakup’s agent Kees Vos is in talks with the Toffees, and negotiations have been progressing nicely ahead of what is potentially set to be a pre-contract agreement.

Turkey international Ozyakup’s current deal expires at the end of the season, which would allow him to join Everton on a free transfer and reunite with former teammate Cenk Tosun.
Besiktas’ number 10 was in glittering form last season, having a hand in 15 goals during 40 league and cup outings from midfield – scoring five and setting up 10. This season he has failed to score, but has still created seven goals.

Known for his accurate passing both long and short, as well as his eye for goal and fantastic technique, former Arsenal trainee Ozyakup’s availability has also caught the eye of West Ham.
But Everton are set to beat the Hammers to Ozyakup’s signature, as well as Spanish giants Valencia and a handful of Italian sides if the report is to be believed.
