The defender is yet to feature for Arsenal this season.
According to the London Evening Standard, Mathieu Debuchy will still push for an exit from Arsenal in January even if he plays more following an injury to Hector Bellerin.
The Spanish full-back is set to miss the rest of November, and potentially the beginning of December, after picking up an ankle injury on international duty.
That has opened the door for Debuchy, and fellow right-back Carl Jenkinson, to stake a claim for more first-team football in his absence.
Manager Arsene Wenger elected to go with the latter on Saturday for the draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
He is also likely to start against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and that has reportedly led Debuchy to evaluate his current position.
According to the London Evening Standard, he will push for an exit in January even if he gets more game time before then.
It is, however, unknown whether Wenger is willing to sanction an exit from the Emirates Stadium.
He did allow the Frenchman to move on loan to Bordeaux last year but blocked a potential switch to Manchester United in the summer.
With Debuchy likely to cut a frustrated figure, though, perhaps Wenger will decide an exit is best for all parties.
