Pep Clotet could reportedly be reunited with his former Leeds United boss Massimo Cellino at Brescia.
According to TMW. Brescia owner Cellino has chosen his next manager. The report has claimed that it will be former Leeds assistant head coach Clotet.
The report in the Italian news outlet has stated that Italian businessman Cellino appreciated the work done by Clotet when he was the assistant head coach to Garry Monk at Elland Road during the 2016-17 season.
Monk and Clotet did well at Leeds that season, as the West Yorkshire outfit finished seventh in the Championship table, just five points off the playoffs.
Since leaving Leeds, the Spaniard has managed Oxford United and Birmingham City, and he could now be on his way to take charge of Brescia in Serie B.
Brescia got relegated from Serie A at the end of last season and are not having a good campaign in the second division in Italy.
La Leonessa are as low as 13th in the Serie B table at the moment with 21 points from 20 matches, as many as 20 points behind leaders Empoli.
