Massimo Cellino hopes to sell 50 per cent of Leeds United by Christmas.
Massimo Cellino’s plan to sell 50 per cent of Leeds is still planned to go ahead, report The Sun, with the owner aiming to wrap up the agreement by Christmas.
Owner Cellino yesterday was notified by the FA that he is to be banned for 18 months, a decision he told the club website he intends to appeal.

The Sun (9/12 p66) report Cellino values Leeds at £43 million, which works out that investor Andrea Radrizzani would pay £21.5m, while an agreement would have to be worked out regarding the club’s debts, an estimated £17m according to the paper.
While Cellino plans to contest his FA ban, the paper claim that he would rather sit it out and hope the club reach the Premier League, rather than sell his remaining 50 per cent. It is claimed that he has rejected offers to buy Leeds outright on two separate occasions.
Leeds are currently in fourth position in the Championship table and could close on the automatic promotion places if they record a win over second placed side Brighton and Hove Albion this evening.
As a Premier League side, Leeds would be more valuable should Cellino eventually decide to sell the remaining 50 per cent, while owning a top flight club in England is an ambition the Italian said he wanted to fulfil from day one.
