Maryan Shved was the last permanent signing of Brendan Rodgers’s reign at Celtic.
Celtic won’t have Maryan Shved available for their first Scottish Premiership game next season, according to The Scottish Sun.
The 21-year-old winger arrived at Lennoxtown toward the end of last season after his loan spell with Karpaty Lviv ended.
Shved joined Celtic for £2 million in January [The Scottish Sun] and was immediately loaned back to the Ukrainian outfit.
But he was sent off in his final game for Karpaty and the Scottish Football Association will be advised by their Ukrainian counterparts that he’s carrying a one-game suspension when they seek international clearance, according to The Scottish Sun.
Shved, who has one cap for Ukraine, wound up being the Hoops’ last permanent signing of the Brendan Rodgers era.
If his stats are anything to go by, Celtic will have a class player next season, having scored 14 goals from 24 appearances last term overall.
