Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers could offload Marvin Compper.

According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic could look to move on defender Marvin Compper before Friday’s transfer deadline – despite only signing him in January.
It promises to be a busy couple of days for Celtic, as not only are they in Europa League qualifying action against FK Suduva tonight, but the transfer deadline is fast approaching.
Boss Brendan Rodgers wants to bring players in before Friday’s deadline, but one key player could be on the move as Lyon chase a deal for striker Moussa Dembele.
Another player may yet be heading out, as The Scottish Sun report that Celtic are considering allowing Marvin Compper to leave the club before the deadline.
Celtic only signed Compper from RB Leipzig in January, but the German has allegedly failed to convince manager Rodgers, with a swift exit potentially on the cards.

The 33-year-old has remarkably made just one appearance for Celtic since his arrival, becoming something of a forgotten man and far from the solution to Rodgers’ defensive problems.
It remains to be seen whether any clubs are actually interested in Compper, but with Rodgers unconvinced, he seemingly has no future at Celtic Park – and may leave before tomorrow’s deadline after just a matter of months with the club.
