The midfielder is set to become Aston Villa’s second summer signing from the Belgian side.

The Club Brugge midfielder, Marvelous Nakamba, is in England for a medical ahead of a move to Aston Villa, according to HLN.
The Belgian website claims that Aston Villa had previously offered €11 million (around £9.8m) for Nakamba, but demanded that, in turn, Brugge would loan a player from them, at a cost of ‘a few million euros’.
That approach is said to have been rejected. But a new one, worth more than €12m (around £10.7m) and without any additional demands, has now been accepted, according to HLN.
Assuming all goes to plan, it is claimed that Nakamba’s transfer will be finalised either today (Thursday) or tomorrow.
The Zimbabwean is said to have spent more than a week being ‘unlawfully absent’ from Brugge, as he seeks to push through a move to Villa Park.

Nakamba would provide Aston Villa – for whom John McGinn starred last season – with another combative option in central midfield.
He would become the Villans’ 10th summer recruit and join his former Brugge teammate, Wesley Moraes, at Villa Park.
Would Nakamba prove a good addition for Aston Villa?
