Nottingham Forest defender Danny Fox has been linked with a move to Wigan Athletic.

According to Sky Sports, Nottingham Forest have rejected Wigan Atheltic’s first bid for Danny Fox.
Wigan are keen to sign up the Forest defender, who they felt could be available.
However, Martin O’Neill is blocking all transfers, as he wants to assess all the players he has at his disposal at the City Ground.
O’Neill has just taken over from Aitor Karanka at Forest, following the Spanish boss’ departure.
And Fox’s sale is now not being considered, with Forest wanting to retain the bulk of their squad.

O’Neill feels that he would be unwise to let go of any Forest player without at least seeing them in action.
Fox has played regularly this season, and often had to fill in at centre-back, despite being a more natural full-back.
O’Neill’s first game in charge at Forest will come this weekend, when the Reds take on Bristol City.
