Nottingham Forest boss Martin O’Neill won for the first time in his new job at the weekend.

Forest are eyeing up a full-back, a midfielder and a striker in the coming days, as they look to strengthen Martin O’Neill’s squad.
Forest are said to be prepared to be back O’Neill with funds, as they look to give him the tools required to mount a promotion push.
The new Forest boss tasted victory for the first time at the weekend, as his side got past Wigan Athletic.

Forest won the contest 3-1, with Joe Lolley, Matty Cash and Adele Guedioura on the scoresheet.
The victory has not changed O’Neill’s mind that there is still work to be done on the squad at the City Ground though.
And Forest fans could be in for an exciting end to the transfer window, with the Reds still pushing to make multiple additions.
