Sunderland still have not found a replacement for David Moyes.
According to a report int he Northern Echo, Sunderland chief executive officer Martin Bain wants to have a new manager in place over the next eight days.
Sunderland return to pre-season training on the 29th June, and they are currently still searching for David Moyes’ replacement.

Black Cats coach Robbie Stockdale has been put on alert that he may have to take pre-season training.
However, Bain is still optimistic of having a permanent boss in charge by the time training starts up again.
Sunderland initially targeted Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes to take over from Moyes, but he turned them down and it was a major blow.

Sunderland had no contingency plan in place, and have had to re-start their search for a new boss.
At the moment it is believed that Nigel Pearson is among the most likely candidates to take over at the Stadium of Light.
Pearson has won promotion from the Championship as a manager, with Leicester City, but his most recent job at Derby County was a failure.
