Newcastle United’s Rafael Benitez continues to be linked away.

According to The Mirror, Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain are both interested in snapping up Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez this summer.
The Magpies drew at Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, meaning a top half finish like last season is now looking increasingly unlikely.
Newcastle have just two games left to play, and there’s a real danger that they’re now entering the final stages of Benitez’s time in charge of the club.
Benitez’s contract expires this summer, and Newcastle have yet to convince the Spaniard to remain at St James’ Park and sign a new deal.
After three years in charge, Benitez may well be tempted to move on – especially given the lack of spending he’s endured, and two big-spending clubs now appear to be keen.
The Mirror claim that Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain are both interested in Benitez, with doubts over the respective futures of Rudi Garcia and Thomas Tuchel.

Marseille have huge financial backing thanks to Frank McCourt, and would allow Benitez to re-shape the club however he sees fit, whilst PSG’s spending power is well-known at this point – though how Benitez would use somebody like Neymar would be fascinating.
Newcastle fans may now be concerned about Benitez moving on to one of these huge clubs, and will be desperate for Mike Ashley to get a deal done quickly.
