West Brom are reportedly set to offer short-term deals to Marouane Chamakh and Momo Sissoko.

According to The Telegraph, West Bromwich Albion are ready to sign free agent forward Marouane Chamakh until January after a trial spell with the club.
The Baggies made a couple of late additions at the end of the summer transfer window, as wingers Nacer Chadli and Hal-Robson Kanu arrived, but West Brom also missed out on a couple of other transfer targets.

That has left Tony Pulis a little short of quality, but with the transfer market only re-opening in January, the Welshman is now forced to look to the free agent market.
Midfielder Momo Sissoko and forward Marouane Chamakh have both been training with the Baggies over the last week or so, and could now be in line for permanent deals at The Hawthorns.

The Telegraph report that Sissoko is in line for a deal, as many expected, but attacker Chamakh could also be set to pen a contract with the club, with Pulis ready to sign both players on short-term deals until January.
Chamakh, 32, worked with Pulis at Crystal Palace, and has been a free agent since leaving Selhurst Park at the end of his contract over the summer.

The Moroccan international hit 14 goals in 67 games for Arsenal before finding the net ten times in 65 games for Palace, meaning he doesn’t possess the greatest goalscoring record in England, but he’s familiar with Pulis and the way he plays.
On a free transfer, Chamakh may be worth a punt for West Brom as they pursue attacking reinforcements, and with powerhouse midfielder Sissoko also in line for a contract until January, the Baggies may be close to striking a double deal almost two weeks after the transfer deadline passed.
