The West Ham United striker will not be downing tools, according to a report.

Club insiders at West Ham United have said that Marko Arnautovic will not go on strike, according to The Daily Mail.
It looks like the Austrian could be set to stay at West Ham after Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande pulled the plug on a potential £45 million deal for the striker [The Daily Mail].
The 29-year-old’s agent is on record in saying that his client – and brother – wants to leave East London.
But The Daily Mail report that the Hammers’ insiders have indicated that he will not go on strike in order to force a move away from the club.
The report adds that the former Stoke star, who wasn’t involved this past weekend, was unhappy at being told that he would not be allowed to leave.
But it seems like he won’t do a Dimitri Payet and leave the Irons in acrimonious circumstances, after the French midfielder downed tools this time two years ago and secured a £25 million move to Marseille.
Arnautovic, who has seven goals in 16 Premier League starts this season, is arguably more important for West Ham this season than Payet was at the time, and if he stays then it’s certainly positive for the club.
