St. Mirren manager Jack Ross will confirm the deal later today, according to The Scottish Sun.

This is certainly a great move for Hill, as he will get to play competitive football for a club who are aiming to get promoted to the Scottish Premiership at the end of the season.

The young midfielder signed a new three-year contract with Celtic only in May 2017, as announced on the club’s official website.

This means that although Hill is (reportedly) going out on loan, he remains in manager Brendan Rodgers’s long-term plan.

Celtic recently signed Lewis Morgan from St. Mirren in the January transfer window and have loaned him back to the Buddies for the rest of the season.
