Tottenham Hotspur attacker Marcus Edwards appears to be on the verge of an exit from Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

According to the Guardian, Marcus Edwards wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Edwards has apparently given up on his chances of breaking into Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team, and will now seek to play regularly elsewhere.
The 19-year-old was once tipped to be the brightest prospect in Spurs’ academy, but his attitude has come into question more recently.

Tottenham loaned Edwards out to Norwich City towards the back of last campaign, in a last ditched attempt to get him regular action, but he did not feature once for the Canaries.
And the youngster has now supposedly decided that he doesn’t have a chance of breaking into Pochettino’s starting line-up next term.

Tottenham are also reportedly of the belief that Edwards’ immediate prospects with them are not good, which means that they are highly unlikely to stand in his way, if an acceptable offer comes in.
Losing Edwards would once have been considered a major blow for Spurs, but even at youth level the likes of Reo Griffiths and Kaziah Sterling appear to have moved ahead of him in the pecking order.
As things stand, it is not entirely clear where Edwards will end up this summer, with the youngster now weighing up his options.
