Everton boss Marco Silva is thought to be wanting a staggering amount of new players at Goodison Park.

According to the Telegraph, Everton boss Marco Silva still wants five more signings before the close of the transfer window.

Everton have been fairly quiet over the summer so far, with Andre Gomes, Fabian Delph and Jonas Lossl their only additions.

But Everton are plotting a busy end to the window, with Marcel Brands tasked with bringing in as many as five new players.

Everton are on the hunt for two more attackers, including a new goalscoring striker.

Silva also appears to have other areas of the squad he would like to upgrade, with a right-back, centre-back and a defensive midfielder likely to be on his wishlist.

It could, therefore, be a very exciting couple of weeks at Goodison Park, as the transfer window draws to a close.

Everton are risking leaving their business too late, but they may have taken this tactic in a bid to get players at a cheaper price, as the market has been so inflated this summer.
