According to The Daily Mail, Leeds United are set to sign Cody Drameh from Fulham in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Leeds and Fulham have reached an agreement over the transfer of the teenager.

The Whites initially wanted to pay £400,000 to the Cottagers, but the West Yorkshire outfit could end up paying £1 million in total if all clauses are met, according to the report.

The report has added that Leeds want to include the 18-year-old right-back in the first-team squad rather than send him out on loan, and head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s project has appealed to the youngster.

The Daily Mail has further added that Fulham will have a sell-on clause, and that Leeds wanted to sign the teenager last January.

Good move for Cody Drameh?

With Leeds reportedly planning to make Drameh part of their first-team squad, it does seem like a good move for the teenager.

Bielsa is known for improving and developing players, and the right-back would get better and progress under his coaching.

Of course, the teenager should not expect to start matches straight away, but if he does well and works hard, then he could establish himself as a major player in the team in the coming years.
