Leeds United were looking to sign a goalkeeper on an emergency loan, but Marcelo Bielsa wanted to give Will Huffer a chance.

Bielsa told Leeds that he didn’t want another centre-back during the summer transfer window, when the club were looking to add more depth.
And the Argentine boss felt that he had the solutions to solve his goalkeeping problem within his squad.
With Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Jamal Blackman both injured, Leeds had no senior goalkeepers available for their match against Bristol City last weekend.

The Whites’ transfer team were quickly into action, in an attempt to sign a goalkeeper on an emergency loan move.
However, Bielsa reportedly cancelled the plans, as he wanted to give Will Huffer a chance.
Bielsa’s decision to proved to be the right one, as Huffer kept a clean sheet and helped Leeds pick up a 2-0 win over Bristol City.
