However, it is unlikely that Phillip Cocu will follow the Everton-bound Dutchman.

PSV Eindhoven’s Marcel Brands has confirmed he will become Everton’s new director of football – and is understood to want Eredivisie stars Hirving Lozano and Hakim Ziyech at Goodison Park, according to the Sunday Mirror (April 22nd, page 64).
However, in quotes published by the newspaper, Brands – who claims Everton first contacted him in 2016 and that he has turned down ‘beautiful clubs’ in Germany – insists it is better if manager Phillip Cocu remains at PSV next season.

Lozano – who was linked with a move to Manchester City before his arrival in Eindhoven last summer – has scored 16 goals and set up 11 en route to this season’s Eredivisie title.
Interestingly, the Mexican winger is said to have signed to Mino Raiola’s agency – the Dutch-Italian super agent who it is claimed brokered Everton’s deal for Brands and who is being tipped to have a greater influence at Goodison Park next term.

Ziyech – the Morroccan attacking midfielder who has already been linked with a move to the Toffees – has enjoyed a similarly productive campaign to Lozano, scoring nine goals and setting up 14 for PSV’s closest challengers Ajax.
Would Lozano and Ziyech be good additions for Everton?
