Marcel Brands is reportedly working very hard to bring Marco Silva to Everton before he sets his sights on any players.

Everton are on the hunt for a new manager, after parting company with Sam Allardyce yesterday.
In a day of change at Goodison Park, Brands also came in as the club’s new director of football.
And the Mirror claim that Brands will go straight after Silva, as Everton look to provide a stable foundation for the future.

Everton have been long-term admirers of Silva, after recognising his excellent work with Watford earlier this campaign.
The Toffees moved for the Portuguese boss earlier in the season, but failed to get a deal over the line.

Everton are now working on a move to bring Silva to the club again, and Brands has made it is his first priority.
If Silva was to take charge at Everton, the hope is that he could provide a more attacking style of football than the fans have been watching at Goodison Park this past season.
