Argentina and River Plate starlet Santiago Sosa has been linked with a move to Premier League outfit Everton.

Everton’s director of football Marcel Brands watched Santiago Sosa during in action for Argentina during the U20 South American Championships at the start of 2019, according to the Liverpool Echo.
One of the brightest talents in Argentinian football has been heavily linked with a move to Goodison Park in recent weeks.
According to TYC Sports, Everton are interested and River Plate are willing to sell 20-year-old Sosa to the Merseyside giants for a potential bargain fee of just £11.5 million. The Copa Libertadores winners need the money and look set, therefore, to cash in one arguably their prized asset.
And while the Liverpool Echo suggests that Everton are not looking to bring Sosa to England at this stage, esteemed talent-spotter Brands has been keeping a close eye on him for some time now.
The report states that Sosa registered on Brands’ radar after some superb performances for Argentina at the South American U20 Championships in Chile.

The River Plate starlet really stood out and was included in the Team of the Tournament.
Brands has a history when it comes to signing little-known youngsters with huge potential, having discovered Gini Wijnaldum, Hirving Lozano, Sergio Romero and Dries Mertens during his time in Holland.
