According to Sabah, Galatasaray defender Marcao is unhappy at the club and could leave in January amid interest from Newcastle United.
It’s claimed that the Brazilian is unhappy with his wages at the Turkish club, and is now keen to leave the club.
Marcao will allegedly receive January offers to leave Galatasaray, and his frayed relationship with the club may lead to his exit.
Roma are thought to be keen on Marcao having looked at him over the summer, whilst Newcastle are also interested.
A €30million (£27million) fee has been suggested for Marcao, though that seems a little on the expensive side.
Newcastle are unlikely to pay that kind of money for the Brazilian in January, though Steve Bruce will likely be in the market for a new centre back to bolster his back line.

The 24-year-old joined Galatasaray from Chaves in Portugal in January 2019, and has impressed in Turkey since making his move.
Marcao is strong, powerful in the air and left-footed, meaning he could fit well on the left side of a back three if Bruce goes back to such a system.
With Marcao allegedly unhappy right now, Newcastle should be keeping close tabs on his situation – and could land themselves a big January addition.
