Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham United side are next in action against Arsenal at the weekend.

Mark Noble and Aaron Cresswell have a laugh during a training session as part of the West Ham Pre-Season Tour to Switzerland on July 3, 2018 in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland.

According to the Daily Mail, Manuel Pellegrini could drop West Ham United’s Mark Noble for their next match.

Noble has struggled over the early part of the season, as West Ham have lost their first two matches.

The pressure is already mounting at the London Stadium, after the Hammers’ poor start, with supporters expecting much better of their side.

West Ham invested heavily over the summer to increase expectations about the upcoming campaign, but their problems from last season have still existed.

Noble’s performances have come in for heavy scrutiny, and the Mail suggest that his place could now be lost.

Pellegrini reportedly wants more energy in midfield, which could see Noble, who is on a £50,000-a-week contract (Daily Mirror), dropped to the bench.

West Ham’s next match comes against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, as their tough opening to the campaign continues.
