Manchester United are interested in signing Tomas Soucek from West Ham United in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic.
Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in securing the services of the 26-year-old defensive midfielder, according to the report.
The report has added that the Hammers plan to offer the Czech Republic international a new and improved contract.
Tomas Soucek’s West Ham United?
Soucek cost West Ham £4 million in loan fee when they signed him from Slavia Prague on loan in January 2020, and the London club paid a further £15 million in the summer of 2020 to make the deal permanent, according to Sky Sports.
The 26-year-old has been superb for the Hammers and has established himself as a key figure in manager David Moyes’s team.
According to WhoScored, the defensive midfielder has scored nine goals and provided one assist in 32 Premier League games for West Ham this season.

Should West Ham United worry?
United and PSG are massive clubs, but Soucek seems happy at West Ham, who could also finish in the Premier League top four and qualify for the Champions League.
Reported interest from United and PSG shows just how good the Czech Republic international defensive midfielder is.
