Manchester United are reportedly planning a huge triple raid on Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Toby Alderweireld #4 of Tottenham Hotspur passes the ball in the second half against Roma during the International Champions Cup on July 25, 2017 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.

According to a report from the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants to bring Tottenham stars Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier and Danny Rose to Old Trafford in the summer.

Spurs currently sit four points behind United in the Premier League table, but Mauricio Pochettino has built a squad of talented young players who seem to be on the verge of achieving something special.

If the Argentine is to guide his side to major honours over the course of the next few years, it will be vitally important for him to keep hold of his best players.

The Manchester Evening News’ latest report will be a huge cause for concern for Tottenham, though.

They claim that the Red Devils are intent on bringing Alderweireld, Dier and Rose to Manchester during the summer transfer window.

The Belgium international’s future at Tottenham is uncertain to say the least, and a move away from north London is growing increasingly more likely with every week that passes.

Rose has also been tipped for a Spurs exit in the summer, but the Lilywhites will surely want to keep hold of both him and Dier, as they look to break their 57-year wait for a top flight title next season.

Allowing all three players to leave and join United would be an absolute disaster for Spurs as a football club, and something that they should quite simply not let happen.
