Manchester United are reportedly back in for West Ham United star Marko Arnautovic.

According to The Mirror, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants to land West Ham United striker Marko Arnautovic in 2019 – and is prepared to pay big money for him.
Arnautovic, 29, enjoyed a fine campaign last season with 11 goals and six assists, having been converted into a striker by David Moyes after some struggles out wide under Slaven Bilic.
The Austrian has started this season impressively too, grabbing five goals and one assist in 11 games, but the Hammers are now concerned about losing their talismanic forward.
Arnautovic’s brother and agent Danijel spoke to Gianluca Di Marzio earlier this month, stating that the forward is ready to play for a Champions League club and challenge for titles, leaving some to wonder whether a January move could take place; just like when Dimitri Payet left for Marseille in 2017.
Now, The Mirror report that Manchester United are back in the hunt for Arnautovic after registering an interest over the summer, with boss Mourinho keen to fork out at least £50million to sign him; more than double what West Ham paid for him just over a year ago.

Mourinho worked with Arnautovic at former club Inter Milan, and may feel a reunion can help spark United’s attack, which currently features a goal-shy Romelu Lukaku, meaning Arnautovic could be a solution in the final third.
It’s added that Arnautovic is open to a move to Old Trafford in January, and if these reports are true, then West Ham may face a major battle keeping their star forward in East London.
