Manchester United are reportedly keen on Porto striker Andre Silva.
According to the Daily Record, Manchester United are looking to snap up Porto striker Andre Silva, in a deal which could cost €60m (£51.5m).
The Red Devils moved to snap up Zlatan Ibrahimovic over the summer, but the Swede is now 35, and is only on a one-year contract, whilst Wayne Rooney has struggled this season.

Jose Mourinho may have two young, talented attackers at his disposal in Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, but he’s being linked with a move for another striker in Andre Silva.
The 21-year-old has been coming up through the ranks with Mourinho’s former club Porto since joining in 2011, and after scoring 24 goals in 84 games for their ‘B’ team, Silva is now a fully-fledged first-team player for Porto.

The 6ft 1in striker has hit nine goals in just 14 games this season, and he’s been billed as the striker to finally end Portugal’s striking woes, with four goals in five caps for his country.
Now, the Daily Record claim that United are hoping to sign Silva, joining Barcelona, Manchester City and Real Madrid in the race for the attacker’s signature.

It’s suggested that Silva could cost up to €60m (£51.5m), and whilst United will hope to land one of Europe’s top young strikers, they’ve allegedly been given a warning not to wait around.
The report claims that United have been told to avoid another situation like the one surrounding Renato Sanches, the Portuguese midfielder who looked destined for Old Trafford before United dallied, allowing Bayern Munich to swoop in and sign the 19-year-old wonderkid.
It’s another Portuguese starlet at the centre of this transfer battle, and the Red Devils really will have to move quickly if they are to do what they couldn’t do with Silva, and sign the striker.
