Wolverhampton Wanderers will have to pay £30 million for Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo, according to The Mirror.

It has been reported that Wolves – who will feature in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship – are interested in signing Rojo from United in the summer transfer window.

According to The Manchester Evening News, the 28-year-old defender himself is considering his future at the Red Devils.

Good signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers?

Rojo has not been exactly ‘great’ for United since his move from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2014, but he has been effective.

The Argentina international, though, has shown that he is capable of playing at the Premier League level, and given his experience, the 28-year-old would be a good signing for Wolves in the summer transfer window.

Marcos Rojo of Manchester United clears the ball during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Manchester United at Emirates Stadium on December 2, 2017 in London, England.

The former Spartak Moscow defender – who earns £160,000 per week as salary, according to The Mirror – also has extensive experience of playing at international level with the Argentina national football team.
