According to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester United teenager Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is set for a loan move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Since the takeover from the Fosun group, Wolves have been active in the transfer market, bringing in the likes of Silvio, Helder Costa, Prince Oniangue, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Joao Teixeira in an ambitious new era at Molineux.

Now, ahead of today’s local derby with Birmingham City, Wolves appear to be closing in on the signing of Manchester United teenager Cameron Borthwick-Jackson in another coup for manager Walter Zenga.
Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio claims that manager Zenga and General Team Manager Andrea Butti travelled to Old Trafford on Friday in order to watch Manchester United beat Southampton, and thanks to their strong relationship with Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho, they appear set to strike a deal.

It is claimed that 19-year-old left-back Borthwick-Jackson is close to signing a loan deal with Wolves, as United look to get him first-team experience away from Old Trafford this season.
The teenage defender has come up through the ranks with his hometown club, and made 14 appearances for the Premier League giants last season.

Now seemingly unlikely to play much under Jose Mourinho this season, Borthwick-Jackson looks set to head out on loan, and despite suggestions of Premier League interest, the left-back is allegedly heading to Molineux.
With right-back Silvio already added, Borthwick-Jackson would give Zenga another body in defence, and whilst it is unclear whether the loan would be until January or all season, his superb crossing ability will certainly aid Wolves’ chances this season.
