Manchester United are reportedly keen on Lyon’s Nabil Fekir.

According to Lyon-based newspaper Le Progres, Manchester United are interested in snapping up Lyon star Nabil Fekir after a move to rivals Liverpool fell through.
United have brought in two new signings this summer as Diego Dalot and Fred have arrived from Porto and Shakhtar Donetsk respectively, but another creative player may yet be on Jose Mourinho’s radar.
Whilst it has mostly been wingers linked with United, they now appear to be keen on a player more accustomed to playing as a number 10 for his club.

Le Progres claim that United are now keen on Lyon star Nabil Fekir, in the hope that they can swoop in and snatch him from under Liverpool’s nose this summer.
Every Love Island contestant if they were an England player – World Cup!
Liverpool had been expected to sign Fekir after a long-running transfer saga, but the report claims that the Reds attempted to renegotiate a price with Lyon after all formalities had already been agreed, meaning the French side pulled the plug on a move.
That means that other clubs can now come in an attempt to vulture Liverpool’s move, with bitter rivals Manchester United now remarkably looking to bring him to the Premier League in a shock move.

Fekir, 24, hit 23 goals in all competitions last season as he starred for Lyon, and he is currently at the World Cup in Russia alongside France teammate and Manchester United ace Paul Pogba.
Swooping in to sign Fekir when he was all-but confirmed as a Liverpool player would be classic Mourinho, and the French talent would certainly bring some creativity to a United side which didn’t exactly dazzle going forward at times last season.
