Manchester United have reportedly joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Jadon Sancho.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United have joined the race to sign Manchester City teenager Jadon Sancho, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur also keen.

Sancho, 17, has emerged as one of English football’s top wonderkids in recent years, and left Watford in order to join the Manchester City ranks back in 2015.

So far, the winger has been featuring for City at youth level, whilst he has also been an England youth international, with 19 goals in 23 games for the England Under-16’s and 17’s – though he can also represent Trinidad and Tobago.

Sancho had been tipped for a huge future with City, but the teenager appears frustrated at the lack of a clear pathway to the first team under Pep Guardiola, and is so far refusing to sign a new deal with the club.

Now, having been left at home whilst seeing Phil Foden and Brahim Diaz join up with City on their pre-season tour of the United States, Sancho appears to be edging towards the Etihad Stadium exit door.

The Manchester Evening News now report that rivals Manchester United are now interested in a shock raid to sign Sancho, and are ‘pushing hard’ to hand him a huge move across Manchester this summer.

However, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also jostling for Sancho’s signature, meaning that they may have to up the ante if they want to beat Mourinho and United to the teenager.

German club RB Leipzig are also lurking, but it currently appears to be a three-way fight for Sancho’s signature, with three of the Premier League’s top clubs willing to offer him a move away from Manchester City, with the key to any deal surely surrounding playing time.
