Manchester United are reportedly ready to rival Liverpool for Christian Pulisic.

According to The Independent, Manchester United are ready to rival Liverpool in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund playmaker Christian Pulisic, potentially at the end of the season.
The Red Devils have been in the market for new wingers and playmakers of late, and their latest target may just fill both roles for Jose Mourinho.
The Independent report that United hold an interest in signing Borussia Dortmund playmaker Christian Pulisic, and are ready to rival any Liverpool bid for the teenager.

Pulisic, 19, joined Dortmund back in 2015, and has emerged as one of the world’s top young players, smashing 11 goals in 78 games for the Bundesliga side.
With nine goals in 20 caps for the United States as well, Pulisic looks set for stardom, and it has long seemed like a matter of time before Premier League clubs eyed up major bids.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was in charge of Dortmund when Pulisic made the move to Signal Iduna Park three years ago, and he is understood to be very keen on a summer reunion at Anfield.

However, United are now thought to be interested too, and are prepared to hijack their bitter rivals with their own move for Pulisic, and the commercial angle – making Pulisic a major marketing star in the United States – hasn’t gone unnoticed either.
It’s claimed that United could offer up former Dortmund playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan in part-exchange, which could just give them the upper hand in the race for Pulisic’s signature as Liverpool fear losing out.
