The Real Madrid ace is attracting attention from Manchester United and Manchester City, according to reports.

According to a report from Spanish media outlet Don Balon, Manchester United have joined bitter rivals Manchester City in the race to sign Real Madrid star Isco this summer.

The 25-year-old continues to play second fiddle to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale at the Santiago Bernabeu, but he still has so much to offer at the very highest level.

Isco joined Los Blancos from Malaga in the summer of 2013, for a fee believed to be in the region of £23 million, and despite struggling for regular first-team action, he has still recorded some impressive numbers, racking up 40 goals and 52 assists in 231 appearances.

Don Balon claim that the Spain international is itching to leave Madrid this summer in search of more regular football, with Manchester City and Manchester United leading the race for his signature.

Barcelona won 3-2.

According to the Mirror, the Spanish giants will demand around £75 million for Isco this summer, and considering the inflated state of the transfer market, that would actually represent decent value.

The Madrid ace would be an excellent signing for either side.

He is technically one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe, and possesses the kind of talent that would strengthen almost any side.

Quite where he will end up, though, remains to be seen.
