Nice midfielder Jean Seri is reportedly wanted by Liverpool and Manchester United.

According to The Mirror, Manchester United are now leading Liverpool in the race to sign Nice midfielder Jean Seri this month.
Whilst United’s focus appears to be on Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, manager Jose Mourinho may still be looking at additions in other areas of his squad.
With Michael Carrick’s United career seemingly coming to an end and Marouane Fellaini possibly leaving at the end of the season, another midfielder may be wanted to compete with Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba.

Now, The Mirror report that the Red Devils are leading the race to sign Nice midfielder Jean Seri, having overtaken rivals Liverpool in the battle for his signature.
Seri, 26, has starred for Nice since making a 2015 move from Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira, and starred last season with seven goals in 39 outings for the French side.
The Ivorian international has recorded one goal and four assists in all competitions this season, but now looks set to leave Nice given a €40million (£35million) release clause in his contract.

It’s noted that Barcelona’s summer move for Seri fell through, and Paris Saint-Germain have had their hopes of signing him scuppered by Financial Fair Play regulations, meaning Premier League teams are now keen.
Whilst Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are thought to be keen, United are now claimed to be leading the race, with a move potentially in the pipeline this month.
