After Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are now planning to make a bid for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.
Manchester United could bid for West Ham United star Declan Rice
90min are reporting this morning that Manchester United have “a significant interest” in West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice and are considering making an offer for the £60,000-a-week (The Mirror) England international.
This comes after after Arsenal and Manchester City had their bids for the 24-year-old turned down.
Arsenal had an offer of £75m up front and £15m in add-ons for Rice rejected.
City are willing to pay £80m in guaranteed money and £10m in achievable performance-related add-ons, but the Hammers are not ready to accept that.
And now, according to 90min, United could join Arsenal and City in making a bid for Rice.

What now?
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, West Ham United want £100 million in transfer fees for Declan Rice.
So, for Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United, it is quite simple really.
They need to pay £100 million to the Hammers and then try to convince Rice.
If the Red Devils are genuinely keen on Rice and want him in their team for next season and beyond, they have to bid now and bid £100 million.
