Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay reportedly is not pushing for a move amid interest from Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and Sean Dyche’s Everton.
According to The Athletic, Newcastle United and Everton are interested in signing Scott McTominay from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
Both the Magpies and the Toffees have shown an interest in McTominay and are offering him more playing time.
However, the Scotland international midfielder’s “preference is to stay and fight for his place” at Old Trafford.
Could Newcastle United or Everton sign Scott McTominay from Manchester United?
In our view, Newcastle United are more likely than Everton to be able to sign Scott McTominay from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
Everton almost got relegated to the Championship and are unlikely to challenge for the European places in the Premier League table next season.

Newcastle are going places under head coach Eddie Howe and owners PIF.
The Magpies will play in the UEFA Champions League next season.
We believe that if the 26-year-old does leave the Red Devils this summer, then he is more likely to move to Newcastle than to Everton.
McTominay made 10 starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Manchester United this past season.
The Scotland international scored one goal in those games.
