According to The Athletic, Manchester United are keeping tabs on Aston Villa’s John McGinn ahead of this summer’s Euros.
The Athletic did a huge run-down of 60 players who could be transfer targets for numerous clubs this summer, and McGinn was one name on the list, and they cited interest from United.
McGinn isn’t at the top of the Red Devils’ list by any means, but Darren Fletcher is reportedly a big fan of his and they are keeping tabs on him.
United have been credited with an interest in the Villa star in the past, and to be honest, we can understand why.
McGinn is an excellent footballer, and Villa are very lucky to have him, and while the Villans have a great project being built at Villa Park, McGinn is certainly good enough to play at a higher level.

There’s a reason Micah Richards has previously described him as ‘absolutely incredible’.
A breakout performance on the European stage this summer with Scotland may pique Manchester United’s interest, and based on the 33 caps he’s already got for his national team, McGinn could be one of the surprise packages of the tournament.
It remains to be seen whether or not United formalise this early interest in McGinn, but this is certainly a situation to keep an eye on in the coming months.
