Tottenham Hotspur’s Eric Dier and West Ham United’s Declan Rice are reportedly on the radar of Manchester United.

It has been reported that United have discussed Dier as a possible candidate to play in the holding midfielder role that Nemanja Matic current occupies.
The report has also claimed that United have also discussed the possibility of signing defensive midfielder Declan Rice – an England international teammate of Dier – from West Ham United for the same role.

Matic has been on the books of United since the summer of 2017 when he joined from Premier League rivals Chelsea for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £40 million.

According to WhoScored, the Serbia international made 35 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for United during the 2017-18 season, scoring one goal and one assist in the process.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the 30-year-old defensive midfielder played 28 games in the league for the Red Devils, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.
