Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a move for Celtic’s Kieran Tierney.
According to The Mirror, Manchester United are keen on signing Celtic left back Kieran Tierney, despite his recent injury lay-off.
Tierney, 19, grew up supporting Celtic and joined the Bhoys when he was just seven after his parents moved to Scotland from the Isle of Man when he was just 10 months old.

Having made his way up through the ranks at Celtic Park, Tierney was handed his senior debut in April 2015, and hasn’t looked back since.
Now Celtic’s first-choice left back ahead of long-serving Emilio Izaguirre, Tierney has made more than 50 appearances for Celtic, and his displays for the Bhoys have seen him earn two Scotland caps already.

Tierney is unsurprisingly attracting major interest despite missing the last two months through injury, and The Mirror report that Manchester United have now joined the race for his signature.
It’s claimed that United scouts have been watching Tierney this season, and United are now prepared to make a move to sign him, possibly this month, or in the summer if they’re forced to wait.
United have seen Luke Shaw, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian all play at left back this season, but none of them have been able to establish themselves as Jose Mourinho’s clear first-choice, meaning United may now look to bring in new talent at left back.
Tierney, despite still being a teenager, fits the bill given that he’s excellent defensively as well as going forward, and with an alleged value of around £10million, he fits into United’s budget comfortably.
