Manchester United are reportedly still in the market for Toby Alderweireld.

According to The Telegraph, Manchester United are ‘desperate’ to sign Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld this summer.
Alderweireld, 30, has been a key player for Spurs ever since joining from Atletico Madrid in 2015, having already impressed in the Premier League with Southampton.
The Belgian has been through up and downs over the last 18 months, but has returned to being a regular under Mauricio Pochettino, playing a key role in the club’s run to the Champions League final.
Alderweireld should start against Liverpool on Saturday, but there’s a chance this could be his final game for Tottenham, as his one-year contract extension means a £25million release clause now exists in his deal.
The Telegraph now claim that Premier League rivals United are ‘desperate’ to bring in Alderweireld to bolster Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s defence.

However, Alderweireld believes he’ll be a Spurs player next season, potentially hinting that a move to playing in the Europa League over the Champions League isn’t exactly what he wants at this stage in his career.
Alderweireld fits the bill perfectly as a proven defender to play alongside the youthful Victor Lindelof, but with no Champions League football on offer at Old Trafford, there may still be a chance that Alderweireld commits to Spurs.
