Derby County are set to take on Manchester United in the Carabao Cup at Old Trafford this evening.

According to The Sun, Manchester United could name a full strength side against Derby County this evening.

Derby travel to Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup, and Frank Lampard’s men may have been expecting to play against a more rotational United side.

However, Jose Mourinho is believed to be taking the competition very seriously this year, and wants to win the tournament.

With no extra-time, the United boss could name a very strong line-up, packed with regular first-team players.

Mourinho hinted earlier this week that Ander Herrera could start, and it seems that Derby are in line to face off against a very strong Red Devils team.

The news reduces Lampard’s side’s chances of progression, but an upset is certainly not impossible.

United have not looked infallible at Old Trafford this season, and Derby will travel to the Premier League side full of confidence, after their 3-1 win over Brentford at the weekend.
