Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Ross Barkley’s contract situation at Everton.
Barkley is about to enter the final year of his contract and he has made it clear that he wants to leave Everton this summer.
Barkley is one of Tottenham Hotspur’s top summer targets, but the interest continues to simmer largely due to Everton’s £50 million valuation, as reported by The Times, on the player.

According to reports from The Mirror, Barkley wants to become the highest paid player at Spurs, demanding a fee of around £150,000-per-week, but The Times reckon that figure would not be that high.
The chances of Barkley signing a contract extension at Everton appears non-existent. Furthermore, the recruitment of players like Wayne Rooney and Davy Klaassen means Barkley could still find himself out of Koeman’s plans if he stays on.
Everton’s Ross Barkley
It is highly unlikely that any potential club would pay £50 million for Barkley and Everton may have to reduce their asking price.
