Manchester United are considering recalling Timothy Fosu-Mensah from Crystal Palace.

United are considering recalling Fosu-Mensah from the Premier League strugglers, and possibly finding a new club for him to play on loan.
Fosu-Mensah is a senior Dutch international already at 19 and was hoping to establish himself as a Premier League regular with Palace to build himself a case to break into Manchester United’s first team next season.

He was signed by fellow Dutchman Frank de Boer and went straight into their side, impressing despite the team’s poor form.
Since De Boer was sacked, experienced boss Roy Hodgson has not had quite the same fondness for Fosu-Mensah.
The 19-year-old has made four starts under Hodgson compared to three under De Boer, and has not featured at all since November 5.

Fosu-Mensah was an unused substitute again yesterday versus West Brom, and United clearly do not want the current situation to persist.
The busy upcoming festive schedule should allow Fosu-Mensah more opportunities with rotation necessary.
However Palace’s defence has improved over the last fortnight, keeping back to back clean sheets, and at present Hodgson has no reason to change it up immediately.
