Manchester United are closing on the signature of Swedish international defender Victor Lindelof, report Portuguese website RTP News.
The report states Lindelof is set to be assigned the vacant number two shirt at the club.
The number two shirt was most recently worn by popular Brazilian full-back Rafael da Silva.

The deal to sign the Benfica defender will cost United 40 million Euros (£34m) up front, totalling 45 million (£38m) in potential add ons.
Lindelof is an international teammate of United talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and would become Jose Mourinho’s fifth signing as Red Devils boss.

The 22-year-old has made 14 Primeira Liga appearances for Benfica this season, playing in six Champions League matches for the club.
