90Min claim that Arsenal and Manchester United are ‘possible destinations’ for French midfielder Corentin Tolisso, after he left Bayern Munich on a free transfer. Tolisso only managed 12 starts for Bayern during 2021-22.

The 28-time France international, and 2018 World Cup winner, was a £35million (Reuters) signing for Bayern in 2017. He started well, but at the start of his second season, he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament issue.

He has failed to replicate his best form, largely because he has not been given the regular game time to shine. With his contract expiring at the end of June, Bayern have decided to release the ex-Lyon midfielder.

The latest report claims Tolisso could potentially be on his way to the Premier League. 90Min reports that Arsenal and Manchester United could be his next club in the coming months, after becoming a free agent.

Arsenal and Manchester United a possible destination for Tolisso

Which club would be best for Tolisso? Arsenal need a midfielder. Granit Xhaka’s form has been poor, Thomas Partey is injured again, Albert Sambi Lokonga’s yet to prove himself. They need a ball-playing midfielder.

Tolisso on a free transfer makes sense. But Manchester United could do with one too, with Paul Pogba departing and United’s other options seemingly not good enough. Tolisso would be a good signing for both.

While there are concerns about his injury history, he is still only 27 and just needs to join a club where he is first choice. On paper, he would be first choice for either side.
