Manchester United have been linked with an unlikely transfer move.
Now this would be some deal. The Sun claim Manchester United are chasing Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos.
Remarkably the report states the Red Devils aim to sign him for just £15 million.
The centre-back cost PSG more than double that amount back in the summer of 2013 when he was bought from Roma.
The report reads: “United feel he could be made available and are weighing up an offer of around £15million in an effort to force it through.”
A deal seems unlikely considering a report in The Sun last January claimed PSG value the defender at a huge £112 million.
The Brazilian is still only 21-years-old but is stuck behind Selecao pairing Thiago Silva and David Luiz in the pecking order in Paris.
He has made only eight Ligue 1 starts this season plus six as a substitute, and making three out of a possible six Champions League appearances.
United are in need of reinforcements in defence, and signing Marquinhos would allow Daley Blind to revert to left-back.
