Manchester City ace was impressed with Tottenham’s Heung Min Son.

Manchester City ace John Stones voted for Tottenham Hotspur attacker Heung Min Son as the player of the season, The Guardian report.
The prize was eventually won by Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk.
Son had an impressive individual season, despite leaving mid-season to feature at the Asian Cup with South Korea.
Son scored 12 goals in 31 games in the Premier League.
He also struck four goals in the Champions League. Three came against Stones’ Manchester City.
This could have helped sway the City man’s vote.

Or the £47.5 million ex Everton star may simply have not wanted to vote for a Liverpool player.
Son’s season ended in heartbreak, with Tottenham losing 2-0 in the Champions League final to Liverpool.
After a busy summer with internationals, he will get an overdue rest this year, and could be even better next season.
