Manchester City are reportedly closing in on Bruno Fernandes.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester City are in advanced talks about a £47million deal for Sporting playmaker Bruno Fernandes – and it may include Marlos Moreno.
City sneaked past Leicester City with a 1-0 win on Monday night, with Vincent Kompany smashing home a long-range screamer that he’d struggle to recreate for the rest of his life.
City now have the Premier League title in their hands, but Pep Guardiola and co aren’t relaxing ahead of the summer transfer window. In fact, they’re nearing a first summer signing already.
The Daily Mail report that City are pushing to sign Sporting playmaker Fernandes, with a deal worth £47million believed to be in the pipeline already.
Intriguingly though, it could end up being a part-exchange deal, with winger Marlos Moreno believed to be one player discussed as heading in the opposite direction.
Other fringe players are being discussed as Sporting director Hugo Viana wants to set up a partnership with City as part of the deal, and Colombian Moreno is the favourite to move out to Portugal.

Moreno, 22, hasn’t played for City since signing from Atletico Nacional in 2016, and has spent time out on loan with Deportivo La Coruna, Girona, Flamengo and Santos Laguna.
Meanwhile, playmaker Fernandes has been in stunning form this season with 33 goals and 17 assists, and he may be the perfect player to offer the drive like Kevin De Bruyne in City’s midfield.
