Should Tottenham Hotspur lower asking price?

Walker is one of the best right-backs in the Premier League and has improved quite a lot over the past three or so years.

Tottenham are right in asking for £50m for the 27-year-old right-back. The North London outfit have no need to sell the defender and can afford to demand £50m.

City are a rich club, and if manager Pep Guardiola is intent on signing Walker in the summer, then the Citizens should just pay the extra £15m needed to secure the services of the former Sheffield United man.

For City to have a successful 2017-18 campaign, it is important that they wrap up their summer transfer business early.

Walker featured in 33 Premier League matches for Spurs last season, providing five assists in the process.
